ITALY!!

Finally! We have made it to our new home away from home... kind of! We are at the Navy Lodge still but we are here in good ole Naples, Italy! I must say it is quite amazing. We havent been out too much yet. We have been here a lil less than a week. We have gone to two italian restaurants and have seen Pompeii. Tomorrow we are going to see the Amalfi Coast! Its been pretty boring here at the Lodge. We have to wait for our orientation before we can get a place of our own or a car, or pretty much anything. lol We have met a few people. This base is so small i dont think it will take very long to meet EVERYBODY. Well i just wanted to do a lil update. its about 11pm here so im going to crash. I will be writing more often to update on our new amazing italian experiences.. Caio <3

Middle of the night Earthquakes and tsunamis!

As some of you may know one of my best friends, Jessica, lives in Japan. She called me in the middle of the night around 12:30. I wondered why the heck she was calling, maybe she just wasnt thinking about the time difference. Then she called again. Then she told me to just turn on the news. I was so worried, the first thing I thought of was that something happened to her husband who is deployed. Then I found out it was a tsunami and earthquake in Japan! Once I heard jessica was ok and there wasnt much danger for her, I felt so relieved that nothing had happened to her hubby. Im so sad for all the people who have been lost or injured in Japan. I am so glad Jessica and her daughters are ok! And her hubby of course.

My Beautiful little girl!

So lately I have been so in love with my baby girl. Just looking at her fills my heart with so much love and joy. No matter what I am going through or feeling when I hold her nothing matters but her! I find myself enjoying doing lil things like changing her and just taking care of her. Its so much work but knowing that she is happy and content makes it all worth it. I cant believe how much she is growing up already. She just had her four month check up, She is 12.4 pounds and 25 inches now.

I love New Clothes!

Finally I got some new clothes today! Pretty much nothing has fit me in forever. I have been hating going anywhere because I only have around 2 outfits I can wear. Today I went shopping and got two pairs of jeans from hollister... on sale for $25 and a button down thermal and a t-shirt. Then a cute shirt from papaya and a pair of knee length shorts from somewhere, I forgot the name of the store. It feels so nice to wear new clothes. It makes me feels so good! Especially with my nice new ring.

I spent the whole day cleaning and packing!! well. until 4pm. Got a lot done. Feels good to come home to a clean house! i hate packing all my stuff and knowing im not gonna have it for a while. But on the flip side it feels good to get it ready to go!

so i guess thats all I did today. Now I have a headache and I just want to lay down and cuddle my lil baby girl. I am just so happy with her, nothing else matters.

Saying Goodbye Sucks

Today was my last day actually being able to hang out with my friend who is going back to okinowa  soon. But it was a great day! We went to Harney Sushi for lunch and it was absolutely delicious as always. We got our favorite flaming lip, or as we like to call it, a Buttery Nipple  :)


Then we just hung out and took a lil mommy trip to babiesrus. Jessica got some more stuff for her lil Britains room, and I got the bedding set for lil miss Brooklynn Madisons room! YAY :) its sooo cute! ill put pics up whenever we actually get to Italy and set up her room. 


It was sad to think that this may be the last time for us to actually hang out.
Possibly for three years :( But I love her and I know we will always be friends.

I got a new macbook pro! YAY!!
And traded my wedding ring in for a super pretty new one! It makes me smile everytime I look at it hehe

Beach Day :)

Finally it was nice enough out to go to the beach yesterday! I even got a little tan! Erics brother is down for the weekend and all they have been doing is playing with their rc cars... Its been a pretty relaxing weekend for me. Yesterday I let them stay home and play with their cars while my friends and I went to Pala for a lil fun. Turns out there was a rodeo yesterday as well so the casino was PACKED! They also had a line dancing thing going on. So, after we lost our money cuz the machines were sucking... we had some sushi and then decided to go watch the people learning the dances. It was pretty entertaining. I want to learn how to do some of the dances, I think it would be pretty fun. I already have a good pair of cowboy boots, I just need a hat now! lol  I also booked a cottage on the beach for the first week of July for a little family VACA. That should be fun! Hopefully ill still have a good time considering it will be summer and ill be 26 weeks along by then.


As far as the baby goes.. It has been moving ALOT lately. Ive noticed it really likes to stretch out, to the point where it kinda hurts.. lol Its nice knowing that its in there though and actually being able to feel it move. Only two more weeks till we find out what it is! Then I will finally be able to stop calling my baby IT. lol


Not too much going on other than that. . Two weeks left of clinicals then its time for externship! I can not wait to be finished with school and graduate. I know im gonna be bored afterwards though. Ill just be sitting at home pregnant... lol So I will be ordering some cable. haha Not that I should just be sitting on the couch... but I need some sort of entertainment. I also ordered some pictures from wal mart the other day. Mostly some of my baby nephew and the navy ball. I need a frame for this pic below. I just love it!! I cant wait till they get here, I wanna continue with some scrapbooking, I havent done any in a while!

Worth Being Tired for

SOOO tired today! But yesterday was worth being tired for. After my day of clinicals I came home and got all ready to go to Van Nuys. Some of my Best Friends, Adrian, was having a graduation party. Adrian and Ryan (another best friend) graduated from Cal State Northridge. We left our house around 2:30 and got there around 6:00 I was sooo hungry, Eric and I got some IN N OUT!! The party was a Hollywood theme so everyone was dressed up. It was soooo great to see all my friends. Its been so long since ive seen them. I always want to see them. It makes me sooo sad not being able to hang out with them all the time. They are all so great! I just feel at home when im with them. Its like we never stopped seeing eachother everyday. I didnt want to leave! lol But at 9:00 we left and got home around 11:00. I was SO freaking tired I passed out as soon as I hit the bed because ive been getting up at 5 every morning. When I woke up this morning my whole right side was killing me. Especially my stomach, it felt like a huge knot on that side. I guess once I fell asleep I didnt move a muscle! So the baby must have been laying on that side all night. Now im finally home and just relaxing on the couch! Gonna take a nap probably. But all in all I think it was worth it to be soo tired to hang out with my Adrian, Brent, Ryan, Scott, Victor, and Evan. Till later. Hope everyone has a great day!

The Week Begins. .

Unfortunately this weekend is over.. Why does it go so fast?! Saturday was nice. We got the house all cleaned up, hung out for a while and then Liem and Jason came down. We went to the Japanese Garden for a luau. We even had a whole pig! lol It was actually really fun even though it was freezing!! Eric had never been to one so it was cool. Sunday we woke up and went to a new church across the street from our apartment. It was pretty nice. We were a little late (because of Eric). The only wierd thing about the church was when we got there they walked us to seats instead of us just picking our own seats. It was nice going though, I always want to go but it seems like there is always something coming up and we arent able to go. After church we did some grocery shopping and I got some crocs for my nursing skills. They are actually really comfy so far, even though they are ugly! lol


Today was pretty easy for clinicals. Dawne and I were with an RNA so all we did is rehab therapy on some patients. Now im home makin some beans and hanging out. I need to do some studying for phlebotomy, gotta get the order of draw down. Nothing else too much is going on. Its a nice Bleh day for this rainy, cold weather.

First Day of Clinicals

Alrighty. So, im sorry i didnt get to write yesterday I got so busy running around with errands and then rushed straight to school. I didnt get home till 11:00pm and then I just went straight to bed. I woke up at 5:15am so that I could take a shower and get ready to go out on my clinicals. I was SO excited to start clinicals today! Unfortunately, I only ate cereal before I left this morning and before I was even at the facility for two hours I passed out. My instructor wanted to send my home...Which I was not about to have that! I need my hours! Plus I am stubborn so I just went to the car and ate a pop tart, then on a 15 min break I went out and ate some cheese its and a rice krispy treat. It was pretty interesting the first part of the day.. just getting everybody awake, feed them breakfast, change all their diapers, change their sheets, get them showered and dressed. We mostly watched today. Although I did feed some people and put make up on this one lady. Then brought them to the dining room. Then for lunch I had some yummy subway and went back to feed the residents their lunch. That was interesting to say the least. But overall it was a pretty good first day! Now I have to go get gas and go to school for an EKG study group... then ill be home for the day!! yay!! Wish me luck. lol

18 weeks Pregnant

So I am now 18 weeks pregnant. Technically its tomorrow but I feel like doing it today :) I can feel the baby moving a lot more now. Not too much else going on with me besides that. Oh except the fact that I dont look so good in my shirts really bugs! I need to get some stretchy new ones. So heres some pics on the growing belly. 

Blogging Again

Sorry I havent been writing lately. Time just slipped away from me. Ive been so busy with school and studying blogging just slipped my mind. Im going to try to start writing everyday again! I promise!

Lets see whats been going on lately. Hmmm. Pretty much I have been super busy with school. Today is my last day of doing actual work in class. We have our final and some lab time and then we are done with work in class!!! Finally! Tomorrow we are just having a potluck and wasting time, since our hours count we still have to stay there.. boo :( But Thursday I start my clinicals so ill be doin that from 630am to 230pm. Im looking forward to that because ill be able to be home with Eric in the evening. Which will be very nice! I dont know about the whole getting up at 530 part every morning.. but i guess ill make due, its only for a month. This baby better get ready!

Other than school not too much going on. This weekend was nice. Friday Eric and I spent the night at my Aunt and Uncles. We played the wii fit, fun! I also got to go to my cousins soccer games on Saturday. They both did a good job, it was fun watching them play. That night my MIL made chicken fried steak! Ive been wanting it forever!! I watched  her and helped out in the kitchen so now I can make it for myself! YAY! They got me a body pillow for mothers day and I LOVE it! It is sooo comfy! We went to church with them on Sunday morning. I really want Eric and I to start going, it always seems like something comes up though. We need to really stick to going. I think it will be really good for us.

Well. I guess thats all for today. I really need to study for my final tonight so I can keep that A!!

Mothers Day 2009

..Days go by..

So, the days have seemed to fly by pretty quickly lately. Which is a good thing. I really do not have anything interesting going on in my life. Its the same old same old hanging out during the day and doing dishes and school at night. Speaking of school... I was really looking forward to this nursing class and I am very dissapointed. All my teacher does in class is read to us! Chapter after Chapter!! Then we have to do the review at the end of each chapter and then take a test for each chapter!! I feel like im loosing my mind in there! But at least once we get into the lab its not as horrible. Last night we got to actually practice some stuff. We had to practice placing patients in the bed in the sims positions, fowlers position, and lateral position. So that was entertaining as well as learning how to make the beds. Its so important that we learn every step and all the little details, like not letting your scubs touch the bed, making sure the bed has NO wrinkles. etc. because when we take the state board they are going to pick a task for us to do and if we do one little thing wrong.... we dont pass. There is about 12 tasks with 10 steps each.. so we need to memorize all of those. Therefore today I will be making notecards today will ALL the tasks on them. Also, I will be studying for the next test and vocabulary.. SO much fun... NOT .. haha.
I had my doctor appointment the other day. It was ok. Im not to sure about my doctor. He doesnt really listen to me, it just seems like he only cares about what he thinks.. but I have my next appointment is June 4th and ill be able to know what it is then! yay! So only a month and a week to wait. I hope it goes by pretty quick!

Pretty Casual Weekend

This weekend was pretty relaxing.

Friday I was not feeling well. I managed to get the whole house cleaned up. Our old friend Angela and her boyfriend came down to visit. We went to the beach to have a bonfire. It was freezing outside from all of the wind. Otherwise it would have been beautiful. Overall we had a good time. It was nice to see her its been about 3 years since the last time I saw her.

My Saturday flew by way too fast. I woke up late, around 1030, with  a headache as usual. I didnt have too long to relax before I had to head over to the Relay for Life event that I was volunteering at. My friends Debra, Stephanie and I were volunteering as part of our school. We thought it was going to be mostly stretching people out which is what we learned in our rehab class. It actually turned out to be more for the massage class. But, even though it was really what we knew how to do, we got to learn some techniques and get some hands on experience working on people. The weather was very nice. It wasnt very sunny but I guess I got a sunburn on my shoulders from the overcast. Once I got home Eric and I made a delicious steak dinner! We had Ralphs fresh bread, some ceaser salad, and STEAK!

Today we had to go to the commisary and get the grocery shopping done. Something we never want to do but something that always needs to get done. Our wireless router went out so we had to get a new one. The one we got wasnt working so we had to go back and exchange it for another one. Finally, we have working internet! yay! Of course all Eric does is play call of duty! Its so frustrating.... I despise the person who invented that game. I wish he was actually good enough to beat this game so I wouldnt have to listen to it anymore!

I wanted to get up and go to church this morning. We really need to start going. I told Eric yesterday we should get up and go. I dont know why, but we didnt.. We need to be more motivated to go. I guess I just dont really want to start going and get attached to this one when we are going to be moving soon. But I probably should go.

Also, Eric and I decided that we would love for Brittany and Isaiah to be our childs Godparents. We love you guys!

I need to go find something to make for dinner. Then its on to a whole new week!

Busy Days :)

So, Yesterday I finally had things to do! Once we get paid the following day is full of bills and errands. Eric woke up for work at 6:00 am. I made him some coffee and it smelt so good I couldnt go back to sleep. So i just decided to stay up and get busy on all those bills!

Since getting pregnany my boobs and waist line have grown enough that I needed to do some shopping. I got some new bras at Victoria Secret! Then a belly band at target, my pants were getting a little too small to hold them together with a ponytail still. Then got a few things at The Closet, gotta love 3 dollar clothes! Finally I was able to have my Olive Garden and it was absolutely DELICIUOS!! I was absolutely ready to take a nap!! Unfortunately I had to go to school.... This Nursing Skills class isnt going exactly how I thought it would so far. Apparently this is our teachers first time actually teaching this class. And... She actually makes us stay till 1030-45.. Which means I wont be able to come home early any more. The good new is that I only have this class for 1 month. Then its off to clinicals and ill be working 630-230..

Today is finally friday! My Friday hasnt started out too well. Eric woke up at 4:00 today. I went to bed at 11:30 last night. For some reason I could not fall back to sleep, therefore I just decided to get out of bed and watch some law and order. I felt sick to my stomach for a while, Since it was so empty there was nothing to throw up just dry heaving.. BLEH!!

 I need to go do some grocery shopping today. This house is quite empty. I guess thats what happens when you have to buy tires you dont account for. We have friends coming down today fo a bonfire! So I need to tidy this place up! Hopefully it wont be too cold at the beach today!

Crazy Dreams Means No Sleep

Rehab lab final = A

My final went Great! Dr kersh believes I did a great job throughout the last three Physical Rehab classes. Although we both agree that they were indeed too easy. I catch on to techniques rather quickly, some others in class it takes repetition. Which leaves me bored. Overall, I enjoyed the classes. This will not be the end of my education. I will go back to school either for Sports Therapy or Physical Therapy. Dr Kersh says it takes discipline but he believes I possess the drive and determination to handle it.

By the time I went to bed I was feeling great, until I started dreaming. Then, not so much. I had quite a few bad dreams.

The worst dream left me awake for about a half hour. I woke up to my pulse beating unbelievably hard throughout my entire body. I had soo much adrenaline running through me it took a few minutes just to calm myself down. If you know anything about me... I am terrified of Mountain Lions. I would say they are my biggest fear. Last night I dreamt that i was at the beach. Which for me should be a GREAT dream, but it turned for the worst. I was laying out at the beach when the next thing I knew, I looked up and there was a mountain lion in the parking lot by the edge of a mountain. It had just spotted a smaller cat. The mountain lion began to show his teeth , trying to scare the other cat and go in for the kill. This seemed to last forever in my dream. The smaller cat then started walking more toward me trying to hide behind me. I tried to move over toward my friend. Of course I didnt want to be left standing alone between the two cats. As i tried to move the smaller cat hooked his teeth into my hand. I had a huge C shaped gash in my hand. The skin was just hanging over. I was surpised that I didnt really feel anything. My wound was not even bleeding, I could see all the muscles where the skin had been peeled back. I figured that I was not bleeding nor did i feel any pain due to the adrenaline and fear running through my body. I knew I was going to need stitches. I tried to sneak away to get to my car and drive to the Emergency Room, while applying pressure to my wound so it would not bleed. This is when I woke up unable to breathe, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

I had a few more bad dreams and developed a horrible headache.

So, that was the start to my day. Lets hope it improves!

Another Day Down

Today has thus far been driven by boredom! Eric woke up for work at 6:30 this morning and I was no longer able to sleep. I decided I might as well get up. I just made some coffee and messed around on facebook and my blog, fixing it up so its beautiful! Since the dishes never seem to stay done, I worked on those. Finally took a long and hot shower I was trying to save. haha

Now I find myself in the mood for some Mathew Mcconaughey :)  mmmmmm... mmmmm.He is so delicious! it is my own personal goal to get all of his movies! So Fools Gold it is! Now I just have to make it another 4 hours until its time for school, then I get to sit around and wait to take my lab final. Wish me luck!

This baby is making me Hungry all the time! Nothing I eat makes me full for very long. I hate being broke. When we get paid tom night I am going on a HUGE grocery shopping trip! I need to start eating healthier for the baby! I want it to grow nice and strong. If anyone has some ideas for me... Lemme know!!

A Pretty Good Start to the Week

Usually Mondays are the most annoying part of the week. Today was a pretty good start to this week. I woke up and watched Army Wives! Ive been waiting for this season to start FOREVER! Then cleaned up the kitchen since it was much needed. Dirty dishes drive me crazy! Last night I broke Erics phone. He had a password set up on it, you can only try entering it in 10 times. Since he didnt want to take the password off..i decided I was going to push random passwords in 10 times to see what would happen. Turns out if you do it 10 times it completely wipes out your phone. He threw a fit and went to bed. So, I went to t-mpbile to take care of it and a new one is in the mail. Luckily there was two more days left on the warranty. I also had a pretty good talk with Brittney today! A little crap talk on the navy, everyday life, finances, and we are now counting wednesdays together. This week we have 19 wednesdays till Isaiah gets home (approx) and I will be 14 weeks pregnant. Also, since she is blogging.. I decided to start my blog up again. Class went well. A on my written final even though I didnt study well. Now time for dancing with the stars and some chicken nuggets. I would be watching Law and Order, but our lovely piece of crap router went out. Now i have to either have my computer plugged in.. or the xbox. So, sorry xbox.. lol

a little about whats been goin on....

sorry i havent been able to write in so long. i kinda lost focus on the blogging....

Lets see whats been going on. . My husband left to iraq about a week and a half ago. He will be gone for 7-10 months. So i am just trying to keep busy. I am still going to school and working mostly. And hanging out with jessica...my best friend lately. I love having her she makes missing eric not that bad. But, sadly she is leaving for a month on monday. I dont know what i am going to do without her. I guess just hang out with Jake. oh Jake is our puppy. I love him to death. He is a jake russell, he is just about 5 months old.

My friend bradley is having his birthday party at my house on the 25th, after my aunts baby shower. This weekend i am just working.

I went to visit my foster parents last night. It was wonderful to see them. I love them so much. Everytime i go visit it feels like i never left. I just hate the drive!! Ill be able to see them on friday again for peaches birthday..so that will be nice.

well im outta time i have to take care of jake...he is sick from the car ride. . till next time.

busy busy..

so...im finally busy again. Sunday was my first day of work i had to go in at 7 am. i stayed till 12 and then i ended up staying even longer for an on call. I ended up getting home at about 5. Kinda sucks cuz eric was home all alone and it made our weekend together go by even quicker...but hey, first day of work and i got 8 hours...not bad.

Work was pretty good. I did some loss prevention workshop videos and quizes. Then i helped clean up to open, get the registers ready, and ran the fitting rooms. It ended up getting really busy.......really. Overall i think i did good, and i liked it alot. Plus i can wear whatever i want to work pretty much! yay!! Because i had to work yesterday i had to wake up early today to finish up some homework for tom. class just in case i had to work today or tom cuz i have on calls.

I drove down to san diego today to drop my friends, rachel and kc, off at the airport. I thought about calling robin to get together, if she was around. Instead i ended up going home in case i got called into work which i just called and i didnt. Ugh....i always said i would never have a job with on calls....its so annoying. But, here i am, what are ya gonna do.....

Im just glad i have a purpose to wake up in the morning and get ready for the day.

Just another day..

well..not much happening today just layin around, did some homework, watched some t.v. and now im going to bed..

tomorow i get my schedule for work. Hopefully its good. I need staturday off cuz my friend hennie is having her baby shower.

I miss Eric, havent talked to him yet...
